Aren’t you tired working 9 to 5? I don’t know about you but I was frustrated repeating myself doing the same task everyday!
I got the best partner in my life who encourages me on my every step and every single day. I decided to leave my job and start doing something I enjoy spending my time doing. Which is my love for art and creating something that makes a big smile on my face and others.
We opened a painting studio where I started teaching painting. We worked very hard to grow my studio and my classes business and we were successful. You know, there are huddles every step of the way in your life, which makes your life harder. I used to go to my studio every single day for two years without even missing a day, but on March 16th of 2020, I had my last class in my studio. Unfortunately, there was the first Covid-19 positive case in the state, and the government ordered all shops, schools and social gatherings.
We gave ourselves six months and we paid rent for six months. We did not make a single penny in that six months and we had to put all in to save our studio. After six months, we finally decided to close the studio permanently. That was the saddest moment of our life! As we were empting our studio I tried not to cry because I didn’t want my partner to know how sad I was (even though he already knew). We moved everything to my home and every furniture, paintings, and other studio stuff are piling on each other in my home. We are seeing all studio materials everyday. It is a worse feeling and I cannot put that in words! All I can say is life never goes as we plan.
I am very lucky to have a partner who shows me his love differently than any other man in the whole world! I lost hope and had nothing else to do in my life, as we were all quarantined! I downloaded TikTok on my phone and all I was doing was scrolling on TikTok all day long! My birthday came and my partner gave me an Ipad. He saw me watching other people drawing on Ipad so that’s where he gets the idea that I may be willing to try!
I did! I am a self-taught illustrator artist. My partner and I now own a sticker business! I create cute sticker designs which make a big smile on my face and others!
